Animals invade AHLM! 🐶🐻

Throughout the year, hundreds of stuffed animals enter our hospital to bring smiles and reassurance to our youngest patients. Having a cuddly friend to hold during what can be a scary Emergency Department visit brings comfort and joy that words may not bring.

We are grateful for PetSmart donating nearly 450 stuffed animals each year and Rivermaid Trading Company for their donation of 150 teddy bears for our pediatric Emergency Room patients.

“You can’t believe the difference it makes to our young ones and their families to receive a new fluffy friend when they arrive,” said Rachel Wairimu, Emergency Department Director. “It is so wonderful that we have companies in town that care and share their blessings with us. Thank you!”

What a night! Our 39th Annual Summerfest was a fantastic success, and it’s all thanks to you!

We had an incredible evening at Bare Ranch by Michael David, enjoying delicious food, fantastic music, and great company.

🌟 Get to Know Our Board Members! 🌟

Meet Jeremy Lenser, our dedicated chair of the Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation!

“I moved to Lodi when I was three and have called it home ever since. My educational journey started at Little Methodist Preschool, and I graduated from Tokay High School. After completing the Butte Fire Academy, I served as a firefighter with CalFire (CDF at the time) in Los Gatos and Morgan Hill. Later, I earned my degree from California State University, Chico.

I then moved to Reno, where I met my wonderful wife, Erin. We’ve been married for twelve years. Together, we’ve traveled to over 30 countries! My career path led me from selling new homes to working for a beer, wine, and spirits wholesaler. Now, I’m the fourth financial advisor in my family, with my brother Matt being the fifth and Erin the sixth.

In addition to my professional life, I am passionate about giving back to the community. I am the past chair of the Lodi Boys and Girls Club, past president and current member of Lodi-Tokay Rotary, past member of P.I.E. (Partners in Education), past member of the Lincoln Tech Advisory Council, current chair of the Lodi Fire Foundation, and proudly serve as the current chair of the Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing golf, watching baseball, cooking, and playing games with my two cats, Molly and Max.”
