The Lodi Public Library will be closed on Thursday, April 16, 2026 for our Books, Bubbles & Brews fundraiser. 🍾📖

We will reopen for normal business hours on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

While our doors are closed, our digital library is open 24/7—anytime, anywhere! 📱💻

📚 Something fun this way comes… 🌱

Summer Reading is almost here at the Lodi Public Library!

Our 2026 Summer Reading Program, Plant a Seed, Read, kicks off June 1 with a summer full of books, activities, prizes, performances, and programs for all ages.

This summer at the Library:
• Reading challenges for children, teens, and adults
• Raffle prizes and giveaways
• Crafts, workshops, and hands-on activities
• Special guests and live performances
• Summer Lunch at the Library
• Fun all summer long

Whether you’re reading under a tree, discovering a new favorite book, or joining us for a program, there’s something growing at the Library this summer.

Stop by beginning June 1 to pick up your reading log and join the fun.

Please note: some events may have limited participation and require preregistration through the Library website.

¡La Lectura de Verano ya casi llega a la Lodi Public Library!

Nuestro Programa de Lectura de Verano 2026, Plant a Seed, Read (“Planta una Semilla, Lee”), comienza el 1 de junio con un verano lleno de libros, actividades, premios, presentaciones y programas para todas las edades.

Este verano en la Biblioteca:
• Retos de lectura para niños, adolescentes y adultos
• Rifas y premios
• Manualidades, talleres y actividades prácticas
• Invitados especiales y presentaciones en vivo
• Almuerzo de Verano en la Biblioteca
• Diversión durante todo el verano

Ya sea que estés leyendo bajo un árbol, descubriendo un nuevo libro favorito o acompañándonos en un programa, este verano hay algo creciendo en la Biblioteca.

Whew, you all have shown up for Summer Reading this year, and we are loving it!! 🥳 Don't worry if you missed anything. Summer Reading is just getting started at the library!

Youth ages 2-18 can come and get FREE lunch from the Lodi Unified School District's Food Truck from 12:20-1:20 pm every Monday through Thursday until July 16!🍴

Stop by the summer reading table while you're here and join in the Summer Reading fun. After all, nothing BEETS summer reading 😆
