The Okee Bay (Mill Pond) Lake Association was initiated in 2022 as a nonprofit group of landowners, homeowners and businesses located on or near Okee Bay (Mill Pond) Lake Wisconsin, township of Lodi, WI. Through positive and inclusive actions of its membership, the purpose of this association is to preserve and protect the Mill Pond, improve its water quality, fishery, and preserve the aesthetic v

alues of Mill Pond for today and future generations. Through this association, members will develop both short term and long-term collaborative plans while seeking support from various levels of local, county and state government and other interested parties. Why:
In recent years, we have experienced significant degradation of this body of water with increased algae blooms, an onslaught of nuisance plants and more vegetation that impairs navigation and the recreational enjoyment of our properties. If nothing is done to address this situation, Okee Bay (Mill Pond) will continue to experience degradation negatively impacting our water quality, recreational enjoyment and ultimately our property values. It will take years to get the Mill Pond back into better shape. However, there are concrete initiatives that we can undertake - both short-term and long-term- to get us there. It’s going to take good faith collaboration and support among all interested parties – residents, landowners, government officials and farmers – to create initiatives that will help us reach our goal. Our Funding for operation, activities, events and lake management projects comes exclusively from membership dues, donations and grants. All activities and actions of our association are volunteer driven. We encourage anyone with a passion for protecting our beautiful lake to contact us. Your involvement in our efforts will be very welcome!

What a FANTASTIC event. The weather cooperated, the setting was wonderful, and the prize items - both auctioned and raffle - were incredible. Special thank you to Fitz's on the Lake for hosting, Marcus J for providing the live music and Donnie B for conducting the live auction.

And to our generous donors...WOW...thank you!

Proceeds for this event and the fundraising event held earlier this year at Lucky's Bar and Grill will be used to partially offset the costs associated with lake treatment as well as expenses associated with the larger UW Watershed study with the Masters program students.
