Who needs help with dinner tonight? Stop by Ray Ray’s in Locust tonight and support Stanly County Girl Scouts. Proceeds go to our Sister 2 Sister Campaign, this is a financial aid program to help off set cost for girls.

Thank you to girls from Girl Scout Troop 1061 in being apart of the Queen City Honor Flight Welcome Home group. The troop made cards and mini gifts for the Veterans mail call packages and cheered our Veterans as they returned tonight Charlotte Douglas Airport.

Thank you to Girl Scout Volunteers Margaret & Jeff for volunteering as medical staff on the flight.

🍂🏕️ What an AMAZING Fall Encampment 🏕️🍂

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers and girls who helped make our Fall Encampment such a special adventure! 💚

From archery, slingshots, geocaching, co-op challenges, and the low ropes course to an exciting field trip to Rescue Ranch, there was something for everyone!

We were blessed with beautiful weather, tasty food, lots of laughter, and great friends. There’s just something special about making memories and having adventures together as Girl Scouts! 💚

Twenty-five years later, we pause to remember September 11, 2001.

We honor the lives lost, the survivors, the first responders, the families, and all those whose lives were forever changed by the events of that day.

As time passes, remembering becomes even more important. By listening to and sharing the stories of those who experienced September 11, we can help ensure their experiences are not forgotten and that future generations understand this moment in history and the lives it touched.

From September 15–26, Girl Scouts can visit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum at a discounted rate and receive a commemorative patch. Patches are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. https://bit.ly/49qqKBk

Tomorrow Night, Tuesday September 8th is Spirit Night at the Albemarle Zaby’s.

Let’s take the night off from cooking dinner while helping raise money for Stanly County Sister 2 Sister Fund.

This fund allows us to help cover the cost for girls to be Girl Scouts.
