Sir David Attenborough celebrates his 100th birthday. If you don't know who David is, you've probably heard his voice on a "nature" show. Google David Attenborough and see what all he has done! He's traveled the world and introduced so much about the world around us. Part of his inspiration started as a Cub Scout and he met the founder of Scouts, Lord Baden-Powell. Check out this interview from some British Scouts! We hope the experiences in Cub Scout Pack 202 and BSA Troop 202 inspire our Scouts to continue to do great things - just like Sir David Attenborough!

Congratulations to Troop 202 Eagle Scout John Owen Tucker on his receiving a $1,000 scholarship from Rotary West Stanly!!! Well done and best wishes at UNC-Charlotte!!!

We were honored today to recognize scholarship winner John Owen Tucker, who visited with his parents Greg and Wendy. John will be off to UNC Charlotte this Fall. Congratulations to John on his commitment to community service!

Since we just came back from the moon with Artemis II, check out the Apollo Astronauts getting their geology training at Philmont Scout Ranch! We hope to have a group of Scouts go to Philmont from Troop 202 in 2027!

Whitley Automotive has supported BSA Troop 202 for years! Chad was a cubmaster with Cub Scout Pack 202 AND an assistant scoutmaster when his three sons — Coley, Bryson and Trey — all earned their Eagle Ranks!

A while back, a local Boy Scout from Troop 202 in the Stanly County area stopped by the shop looking for support. Chad, being the community-focused leader he is, was more than happy to help!

We love supporting local organizations and helping the next generation succeed. A big shoutout to Troop 202 for all the great work they do in the community!

It was Scout Sunday at Rocky River Presbyterian Church today despite the snow day. Thanks to all Scouts! Short service since it was done virtually due to the snow. A Scout is Reverent!
