WSLC welcomed fellow Lions from Albemarle to listen to a presentation from the director of Camp Dogwood, Tammy MacLean. Tammy’s presentation was on the services provided to the VIPs (Visually Impaired Persons) during summer camp. It was such inspiring and interesting information. [ ] Don’t leave lithium ion batteries charging alone.
[ ] Change smoke detector batteries twice a year.
[ ] If you need help installing smoke detectors or changing the batteries, call the your local Fire Department.
[ ] Learn how to use fire extinguishers.
[ ] Know what kind of fire your extinguishers are rated for.
