If you donate to a non-profit, now is the time to do it, before the end of the year. The NSBCF is working hard to help women and their families get through all stages of breast cancer. We were not able to host our annual fundraising gala this year due to medical issues. We cover our expenses with the proceeds from our gala. If you have the money to spare in these hard times and if No Surrender has helped you or your family, please consider us when making your year end donations. Thank you from all of us at NSBCF.

Wishing all a very happy holiday season and a healthy new year.

The ACS has now changed its screening guidelines. Waiting until 45 and stopping clinical breast exams is reckless and dangerous.
Get screened BEFORE the age of 40. Mammography, Ultrasound and Breast MRIs can be combined to find even the smallest tumor in the densest of breasts.

The group says women should start having mammograms at 45 and continue yearly until 54; it previously recommended mammograms and clinical breast exams every year, starting at 40.
