Bailey Arboretum Bailey Arboretum is a 42-acre Nassau County property stewarded by the 501c3 organization the Friends of Nassau County Bailey Arboretum.

The Friends of Bailey Arboretum are entrusted to maintain and enhance the Arboretum and its collection. Hours of Operation: Wednesday - Sunday, 9am - 5pm

Admission: $5 per vehicle, $2 for walk-ins. Admission fee will be collected:
* Weekends only April 3 - June 6
* Wednesday - Sunday from June 9 - August 15
* Weekends only August 21 - October 23

* Members are Free

Bailey Arboretum offers:
Well-Marked Woodland Trails: learn more about Long Island history and ecology. Public Programs and Special Events: guided walks for the whole family, workshops, plant sales, live music, lots of opportunities for volunteers. Private Events: you can rent Bailey for your own special event or wedding -- we have an historic house as well as acres of natural beauty. The Children’s Habitat: a place where children can explore, climb, build, create, make music and enjoy the outdoors without rules or referees. Freedom: you are welcome to bring a picnic, wander off the trails, cross country ski, or walk your dog, all we ask is that you pick up after yourselves.
