Grigg Lewis Foundation, Inc The Grigg Lewis Foundation has as its vision and purpose to continue the philanthropic works that began with and were carried on by Henrietta G.

Lewis during her lifetime. The Foundation is operated by a Board of eight directors who meet at least four times a year to consider requests for grants that have been submitted. The Foundation does not restrict its benevolence to any particular area of interest but has special interest in youth, elderly, human service, community development, and arts and culture. The Board does concentrate on bene

fiting as many residents of Eastern Niagara County as possible. With charitable contributions of approximately $2 million annually, the Grigg Lewis Foundation is able to impact, through its many different pursuits and endeavors, various people and institutions community-wide. From educators and scientists to patients and caregivers, cultural and service organizations to healthcare, research, and academic facilities, the Foundation’s contributions to the community are broad and far-reaching.

The Grigg Lewis Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce that the Youth Mentoring Services is a 2026 Workership Program partner and will host two interns this summer! Since its creation in 2001, the Workership Program has provided paid internships to more than 600 local college students in Eastern Niagara County who are pursuing careers in related fields. Many participants go on to further their education or choose a career path within the nonprofit sector.

Calling all Eastern Niagara County college students! 📣

The 2026 Christa Caldwell Workership Program offers paid internship opportunities to help you build experience, skills, and your resume. Students will get the opportunity to learn from a local non-profit in Niagara County.

Positions are available for Eastern Niagara County college students only. Students can still apply directly through the non-profit organization, and there are many to apply to! Check out the flyer and list of positions available now!⬇️
