Ahoy Lockport Exchange members. Yes, it's that time of year again. Meeting time!! The first meeting of the new Exchange year will be held this coming Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at The Shamus Restaurant, 98 West Ave. in the Lock City.Your favorite libation starting at 5:30 pm, dinner after 6 and a regular meeting to follow. Stop out, say hello, have dinner with us- bring a friend, a potential new member. Or bring your dues, $90. Or just bring yourself. See you on September 20, 2016.

An open Thank You to those in the Lockport area:
The Lockport Exchange Club recently held their 56’th Annual Exchange Ring Circus at the Kenan Arena in Lockport. As one of the longest running events in the city our Circus is produced 100% by our members and our generous volunteers. We sell ads for our Circus Program, set-up and tear-down different props used in the Circus and give the arena a complete big-top atmosphere. We pop and sell the popcorn, as well as soda and balloons, and sell tickets to various raffles. Each year since 1961 we have given away a new bike at each performance and every dollar raised at the Circus goes back into the community through the various programs and organizations we donate to. We offer two College Scholarships each spring to students from Lockport High School funded entirely by our fundraising efforts. Each year at our Circus we are supported by the community and thus we support the community in return. One of our members once called Lockport Exchange “The biggest little Service Club in Lockport.” We at Lockport Exchange would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped in making our Circus a success. From the many volunteers that help us, to the professional and local acts we entertain our crowds with, to the over 1,000 patrons who came to our Circus, we thank you very much. Our advertisers enable us to put on this show each year and we encourage everyone to support them whenever possible. We are planning the 57’th Circus for next year and we hope you can support us and join us. Thank you very much. The Members of The Lockport Exchange Club.
