A great resource for Lafourche Parish.

The Lafourche Parish Brief Therapy Center is a great resource for our residents. You can receive eight sessions of therapy at no cost. As a reminder, these sessions are made possible by funds from the Opioid Abatement Fund. If you or a loved one is in need of services, please contact 985-304-HOPE (4673) to schedule an appointment. No referral required.

In a crisis? Please call 988 for the Su***de and Crisis Lifeline. For all Emergencies, call 911.

***Must be a resident of Lafourche Parish to receive the 8 sessions of therapy at no cost.***

At P.A.C.T. Place, we believe Supervised Parenting Time can be more than a requirement—it can be an opportunity for meaningful connection while keeping the child's safety and well-being at the center.

It is about protection, healing, accountability, and creating opportunities for families to build healthy connections in a safe setting. ✅

This week Pam and Bernadette are spending time learning, connecting, and bringing new knowledge back to P.A.C.T. Place at the 2026 Louisiana Coordinated Response Training Conference, hosted by the Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement.

One especially powerful session, “Turning Pain into Purpose,” featured the Gabby Petito Foundation with Gabby’s mother, Nichole Schmidt, and bonus mother, Tara Petito. Through unimaginable loss, Gabby’s family has turned grief into advocacy—working to increase domestic violence awareness, education, and prevention.

We are grateful for opportunities like this to learn from advocates across the country and strengthen the work we bring home to the families and communities we serve. 🧡

We are so grateful for the continued support of Bayou Community Foundation and this generous grant. This will help us to continue our mission of providing a safe and supportive environment for supervised parenting time.

After all, every child deserves the opportunity to maintain healthy relationships with their parents whenever it is safe to do so. Thank you for helping us create moments that matter!

The PACT Place team participated in the Strong Homes, Safe Children, Community Day hosted by CASA of Lafourche today. It is always great having the opportunity to share resources and network with other nonprofits. Thank you for having us!
