Tammy is blossoming more every day!
When she first arrived, she was very shy and preferred the safety of the top shelf, happily accepting gentle pets but not venturing far. Since then, Tammy has made wonderful progress. She's now exploring more of her space and has even begun choosing to interact with her kitten neighbor. She is a beautiful reminder that time, patience, and understanding can help a cat truly come out of her shell.
Tammy was originally thought to need to be an only pet, but based on her progress, we believe she could do well with another cat with a very slow, thoughtful introduction in a cat-savvy home. She is not fit for dogs and would do best in a home with no young children, though homes with respectful older children may be considered.
Tammy is looking for a patient, loving adopter who will give her the time she needs to continue building confidence and trust. In return, you'll get to watch a truly special cat grow into her best self.
