Lockport Boy Scout Troop 6

Boy Scout Troop 6 will host a public open meeting on Wednesday, September 6, from 7pm to 8:30pm at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 75 East Avenue in Lockport. Any boy aged 11 and over, or entering the 6th grade or higher, and interested in becoming a Boy Scout is invited to attend with a parent.

Boy Scouting provides development, leadership and life skills, and has a reputation for helping youth develop self-reliance, strong character, respect for others, good citizenship skills, and physical and mental fitness. For over a century, our programs have instilled in young men the values and knowledge that they need to become leaders in their communities and in their countries.

Troop 6 has been sponsored by Emmanuel United Methodist Church since the troop was founded in 1923.

We shared a cabin with Troop 160 from Lorain Ohio. They were awesome to spend time with. Hopefully our paths cross again.

The Western New York Scout Council is proud to unveil its new Council Shoulder Patch. The new design incorporates 2 iconic images of our new council territory and celebrates our coming together as one Scouting family. The new WNY Council Shoulder Patch will be available for purchase at our Scout Shops very soon.

We would like to congratulate Tomic (TJ) L from Troops 160 and 545 as well as Sam and Charlie H from Pack 3018 for providing the inspiration for the new design and winning the "Design the New CSP" contest. Our winners will receive a free Council Shoulder Patch and a Buffalo Bills Popcorn Tin!
