Lockport's sandy beach, the Rivi-Erie is open! Thank you to Rick Abbott and the Niagara County Legislature for funding new chairs, sand and a sand sculpting event. An event you say? Yes, June 1-2 a giant sand sculpture will appear. See you there!

On Saturday, Deborah Franco, one of our artists passed away. Many of the tributes to her included pictures of her chalk drawings from Sweet Chalk and I thought I'd include a couple here. Hugs to her husband Ron, their children and the many friends she left behind. She will be missed.

This isn't chalk but how fun to temporarily change up our Love Lockport sign with an homage to our local paper and their bicentennial. The Union Sun has been a great cheerleader for all of our efforts and we are grateful.
