🇺🇸 💥Lockhart Celebrates America 250! Join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. for a full day of FREE family fun at the Courthouse Square, Library, and Lockhart City Park as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday!

Activities at Lockhart City Park: FREE kids fishing for ages 15 and under, FREE swimming beginning at noon, vendors, petty zoo, kiddie train rides, live entertainment, prizes a co****le tournament, kids activities, skydivers leading into the fireworks finale! Bring your lawn chairs, family, and patriotic spirit for an unforgettable Independence Day celebration in Lockhart! Bring your coolers and lawn chairs but NO GLASS CONTAINERS.

Each year, the Greater Fayette Community Foundation invites nonprofit organizations across our service area to apply for funding that helps strengthen rural communities and expand access to opportunity.

The 2026 Community Impact Grant Cycle is open now through June 30, 2026.

Through this grant cycle, eligible nonprofits may apply for support from:
- Red Door Fund for Mental Health
- Green Door Fund for Workforce Development & Education
- Rural Community Health Fund

If your organization is helping build a stronger, healthier, and more connected rural South Central Texas, we encourage you to apply before the June 30 deadline.

Our athletes are ending other sports and ready to get to it. We will start holding summer workouts this week! ‼️
