Swim Team Registration is coming up! 🏊

The Lock Haven Branch YMCA is gearing up for another swim season, with practices held right at Jersey Shore High School!

Registration is IN PERSON ONLY — there will be no online registration.

📅 Registration Dates:
September 14 | 6–8 PM at the Jersey Shore Branch YMCA
September 16 | 6–8 PM at the Lock Haven Branch YMCA

Pricing:
• First Swimmer: $180
• Additional Swimmer(s) & Meet Only: $155
• High School Swimmer: $95
✨ Scholarships are available!

Practices begin Monday, October 19 and will be held Monday–Thursday at Jersey Shore High School.

We are having a fundraiser for the pool! Who doesn't love this option? $10 for your choice of a large cheesesteak sub, large Italian sub or a large chef salad! Tickets are good now through October 15th! Cash only! Tickets can be purchased at front desk! Thanks in advance for your support!!

Good morning members, and what a wet one it is!

Our AM GroupX classes will be cancelled for today due to the excessive rainfall causing localized flooding. This goes for the same with our Aquatics classes this morning.

We will reevaluate the road conditions by 2pm and give an update for our afternoon/evening classes, GroupX, Pool, and Programs.

Stay dry, safe, and we’ll be in touch 👍🏻

Interested in becoming a lifeguard? Take our Lifeguard Certification Class being offered at our Williamsport Branch YMCA! If you're interested in becoming a lifeguard at any of our branches including Lock Haven, Williamsport, or Eastern Lycoming then this class is for you!

The Williamsport Branch YMCA is offering a Lifeguarding Course September 11–13 for those looking to gain valuable skills and become certified.

📅 Course Schedule:
• September 11: 4–9 p.m.
• September 12: 8 a.m.–7 p.m.
• September 13: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Participants must:
✔️ Be at least 15 years old on the last day of class
✔️ Complete the lifeguard pretest before the first day
✔️ Complete the required online portion and reading before the first day
✔️ Attend each day for the full day to become certified
