⚽🎨🎵 What could your child do with a little extra support?
Beyond the Bell for Clinton County offers a $150 scholarship to help cover registration fees and equipment for sports, dance, art, music, and other extracurricular activities!

In return, the recipient completes just 10 volunteer hours with a local nonprofit—giving young people the opportunity to pursue something they love while making a difference in their community.

🐴 Confidence begins with trust.

Working with horses teaches children lessons that reach far beyond the riding arena. They learn patience, responsibility, empathy, emotional awareness, and how to communicate without words.

Guiding and caring for an animal much larger than themselves also gives children an incredible sense of accomplishment. With every lesson, they learn to remain calm, trust their abilities, and approach new challenges with courage.

Every ride builds connection, responsibility, and self-belief. 💙

Learning to play an instrument takes patience, focus, and perseverance. Children discover that mistakes are part of learning, practice creates progress, and difficult things become possible when they keep trying.

Music also gives children a way to express themselves, connect with others, and experience the incredible pride of saying, “I worked for this—and I did it.”

Practice by practice. Note by note. Confidence grows. 💙

Big or small, those moments stay with us. They build confidence, create friendships, and become stories we remember for years.

Running helps teenagers build far more than physical endurance. It develops focus, self-discipline, resilience, and the ability to work steadily toward a goal.

Some days bring a personal best. Other days simply require showing up, completing the workout, and refusing to quit. Both kinds of days matter.

Through every practice, runners learn to trust their preparation, recognize their progress, and discover just how much they can achieve. 💙

Every finish line begins with the courage to start.

⚽ Why do youth sports matter?

According to the CDC’s 2023 Youth Risk Behavior Survey, only 24.6% of high school students were physically active for at least 60 minutes every day.

Sports can help change that, but the benefits go far beyond physical activity.

When children join a team, they can build confidence, strengthen friendships, improve focus, learn perseverance, and discover what they’re capable of accomplishing.

Every child deserves the opportunity to get in the game. 💙
