This weekend, our boys spent the weekend in northcentral PA at Mr. Hubler’s cabin. The boys visited and hiked through Greenwood Furnace State Park in Mifflin County and Whipple Dam State Park in Huntingdon County. A great weekend was had by all! 🏕️

🥣 Our Purcell Brothers Bean Soup Sale was a success! 🥣

A big thank you goes out to Scott & Keith Purcell, their army of volunteers, Jeff & Greg Hubler, Tom & Brandon Witmer, and Christine Haldeman for spending all day yesterday preparing the final product!

Another big thank you goes out to Boyer's Food Markets, Pottsville Provision Company, Weis Markets, GIANT, Coal Town Supermarket, and the Schoffstall Family for their generous donations to our sale!

And lastly, thank you to everyone for your support! Over 30 gallons of bean soup and 17 gallons of chicken noodle soup was sold! See you all next year!

Happy Friday! We would like to remind everyone that it is time to pick up your soup order tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 31 from 10AM-2PM.

Pickup location is as follows:

318 Willing Street
Pottsville, PA 17901

When you approach the address, there is a driveway heading up to a tan, block building. Park in the lot and enter the building from the side to collect your soup.

Last night, our Troop was fortunate to attend a Lehigh Valley Phantoms hockey game at the PPL Center. Thank you to Rob Brooks, Co-Owner of the Phantoms and Eagle Scout, for setting us up with fantastic seats and a picture on the ice. We appreciate your support of our Troop!

It is with great sadness we share that Deb Witmer, mother of Scoutmaster Tom Witmer, passed away on Wed, Jan. 7. Deb was one of our Troop's biggest cheerleaders. She will be remembered her for kindness and compassion.

We will miss her, and feel extremely grateful that she and her family have asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to our Troop. Since some have asked, checks can be made to Boy Scout Troop 600 and mailed to the following address:
