Our local Lions club will be BBQing some chickens 🐔 to benefit the victims from Wednesday devastating fire.

🇺🇸🍗 COMMUNITY STRONG: CHICKEN BBQ FOR A CAUSE 🍗🇺🇸

The Washington Hotel, Mr. Yum Yum, and the Minersville Lions Club are proud to once again team up for our Chicken BBQ Fundraiser this Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM.

Originally, this fundraiser was planned to help support the Minersville Fourth of July Celebration. The celebration is still happening, but after the recent tragedy on Fourth Street, we felt called to do something different.

The devastating fire impacted multiple families, damaged homes, and shook the heart of our community. In times like these, Minersville has always come together to take care of its own.

Because of that, 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be directed toward helping the victims affected by the recent fire.

This is an ambitious goal, but we believe in the generosity and compassion of our community. Every chicken dinner purchased is another step toward helping local families rebuild and recover.
