🏈 COACH SPOTLIGHT 🏈

This season, we're celebrating the coaches who make Bruins football what it is. Next up: Coach Troy Hardister, our Offensive Line coach, in his first season with Tri-West football after also coaching track and field throwers for five years!

💙 What Coach Hardister loves most about coaching at Tri-West:
"What I enjoy most is helping players develop and watching their confidence grow. It is rewarding to see the work we put into technique, effort, and teamwork begin to show on the field."

💛 One life lesson he hopes every player takes away from football:
"Work ethic and perseverance. Football teaches you that success rarely comes easily. You have to continue showing up, putting in the work, and pushing forward when things get difficult."

💙 Fun fact:
Outside of coaching, he builds AI products and tools designed to help businesses improve their operations and grow.

This season, we're celebrating the coaches who make Bruins football what it is. Next up: Coach Cody Schwerin, our Defensive Line coach, entering his 3rd year at Tri-West!

💙 What Coach Schwerin loves most about coaching at Tri-West:
"I love the people. Our kids are coachable and want to learn and be great. The staff feels like family."

💛 One life lesson he hopes every player takes away from football:
"I hope they learn to love others as they love themselves. Football is a game of self sacrifice. Win or lose, the time and effort we put in to grow ourselves and our relationships isn't wasted time."

💙 Fun fact:
He smokes the best rack of ribs in Northwest Hendricks County. (SO, coach, when are you inviting ALL of us over??)

This season, we're celebrating the coaches who make Bruins football what it is. Next up: Coach Keenan Wilson, an Offensive Line coach for the Bruins since 2021!

💙 What Coach Wilson loves most about coaching at Tri-West:
"Getting to meet the kids and hopefully have a positive impact in their lives. And winning!"

💛 One life lesson he hopes every player takes away from football:
The importance of teamwork and community.

He still loves building Lego sets, among plenty of other nerd hobbies.

This season, we're celebrating the coaches who make Bruins football what it is. Next up: Coach Tim Adkisson, our Offensive Line coach, with 15 years at Tri-West after 17 years at Cardinal Ritter High School!

💙 What Coach Adkisson loves most about coaching at Tri-West:
"Honestly, it's the people and the tradition that Tri-West brings. I have met so many people that have become friends for life, and had one of the best seasons of my career, winning the State Championship in 2014."

💛 One life lesson he hopes every player takes away from football:
"When I finally walk away from the game, I can only hope that I've had the same influence on young men that my coaches had on me."

💙 Fun fact:
He and his wife have been to 20+ Jimmy Buffett concerts, including one his son attended too, though his son's shoes didn't make it home with him.
