Good morning, State of Georgia. We were fortunate to escape significant damage from the remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur, despite widespread damage reported across the state, as shown on this map. Thankfully, no tornadoes were confirmed on the ground in Georgia, although some were reported in Alabama. We're grateful that the state fared relatively well and Thankful for the Lord‘s grace pray for those that were affected by the wind damage and Everyone, please stay safe.

Well didn’t take long for tropics to heat up . Tropical storm one is moving along Texas coast and will bring lots of much need rain to this region. Praying that there will be no flash flooding to that area. Season is just started and now is the time to get prepared for severe weather.

Today marks the beginning of the Atlantic hurricane season, and the list of this year's storm names has been released. According to NOAA's National Weather Service forecasters, the Atlantic basin is expected to experience a below-normal hurricane season, with probabilities indicating a 35% chance of a near-normal season, 10% chance of an above-normal season, and 55% chance of a below-normal season. The 2026 Atlantic hurricane season, which spans June 1 to November 30, is predicted to have 8-14 named storms (with winds of 39 mph or higher), of which 3-6 may develop into hurricanes (winds of 74 mph or higher), including 1-3 major hurricanes (category 3, 4, or 5 with winds of 111 mph or higher), with NOAA's confidence level standing at 70% for these forecasts. An average hurricane season typically consists of 14 named storms, seven hurricanes, and three major hurricanes.
