Louisiana Ghost Busters Fan Group Louisiana Ghostbusters is a registered Non-Profit Organization. Louisiana Ghostbusters is a fan-based public service Ghostbusters franchise.

We use our love for Ghostbusters to enhance events while bringing awareness to causes or raising funds for charity organizations. As costumers and fans of Ghostbusters, we represent our open costuming policy with movie-accurate props and wardrobe representing all aspects of the Ghostbusters series of movies, cartoons, games, and novels. As a service organization, we direct money to charities, participate in fundraisers for charities, attend fund-raising events, perform charitable acts and provide community service. As volunteers, LAGB performs many acts of philanthropy openly and willingly, however we do not provide any sort of paid services or profitable ventures of any kind. We effectively trade smiles and good will for donations to various worthy causes. We are a fan club with a mandate to help the community, bringing smiles and goodwill throughout the year when someone decides we’re who they’re gonna call!

There’s two chances to see your Louisiana Ghostbusters in action!

First, we’ll be at Louisiana Retro Con at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales! We’ll have ECTO-LA4 there, along with our new fan favorite prize wheel!

Next, we’ll be at New Orleans Paracon at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel in the French Quarter! We’ll be side by side with some of the leading experts in the paranormal from across the country.

On July 21st, 2010, the Louisiana Ghostbusters was formed when five fans suited up to collect donations for the American Cancer Society.

Today, 16 years later, we are 60+ members strong, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and continue to use our costumes to raise funds for charity.
