🏆✨ Congratulations to Seedlings Braille Books for Children, the inaugural recipient of the Thomas Brandon Award of Excellence!

Presented during the Livonia Community Foundation's recent Grant Awards Ceremony, this new award was established in memory of Thomas Brandon, a generous supporter whose commitment to philanthropy helped strengthen our community.

The Thomas Brandon Award of Excellence will be presented annually to a grant recipient organization that has gone above and beyond in its service, generosity, and contributions to the Livonia community and its residents.

We are proud to recognize Seedlings Braille Books for Children for its outstanding impact and dedication to making reading accessible to children who are blind or visually impaired. Their work exemplifies the spirit of service and community that this award was created to honor.

🎨✨ Congratulations to the inaugural recipients of the Anne Pritchard Fine Arts Scholarship!

During the Livonia Community Foundation's recent Grant Awards Ceremony, we were proud to present the inaugural Anne Pritchard Fine Arts Scholarships to Isabella Dalton and Roryann Morrow in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the fine arts and their dedication to pursuing undergraduate studies in their artistic disciplines.

Established in honor of Anne Pritchard, a founding member of the Livonia Arts Commission, this scholarship continues her legacy by supporting and encouraging the next generation of artists.

We are excited to see all that Isabella and Roryann accomplish as they continue their educational and artistic journeys. Please join us in congratulating these talented students! 👏🎭🎶🎨

Our 2026 Grant Presentation Ceremony was a powerful reminder of what makes Livonia such a special place to call home. 💙

As we gathered to celebrate this year's grant recipients, we had the privilege of hearing story after story of compassion, service, creativity, and community impact. From supporting families in times of need, to enriching lives through the arts, creating opportunities for youth, expanding accessibility, and strengthening the well-being of our residents, each organization shared inspiring examples of how they are making a meaningful difference throughout our community.

Last week’s Grant Presentation Ceremony was more than just presenting awards - it was an opportunity to bring together so many passionate organizations that are making a real difference throughout our community. 🌟

Our Christmas in July campaign is quickly approaching and we need your help!! If you know of a church, business, group or organization that may want to help us D.O. good please let them know about our Christmas in July campaign!

We need people to-

Collect gifts for us- Set up a box at your work or ask your church to host a collection. Even families can get in on the fun, just ask everyone to bring a gift to your Summer BBQ!

Host fundraisers- Think garage sales, lemonade stands, car washes or bake sales! You could collect cans or do a penny war. Get your kids involved to make this a great learning expereince this Summer!

Donate a prize- We are having a silent auction at the car show and need prizes! Make a whole basket or just go through your unused gift cards to find something to donate! It all helps us reach our goal!

Make a tax deductible donation- We have been a 501(c)3 since February of 2024! This has allowed us opportunities we didn't have before! If you are looking to sponsor a non-profit, make a tax deductible donation from your business or family, or just want to send a couple bucks, please reach out today! Every dollar helps!
