Last week’s Grant Presentation Ceremony was more than just presenting awards - it was an opportunity to bring together so many passionate organizations that are making a real difference throughout our community. 🌟

From supporting families and seniors, to advancing the arts, youth programs, accessibility, and community wellness, each organization shared inspiring stories of impact that remind us what makes Livonia so special.

We loved hearing about the meaningful work happening across our city, connecting with so many dedicated leaders and volunteers, and celebrating the collective efforts that continue to strengthen and uplift Livonia every day. 💙

The Livonia Community Foundation invites all 2026 grant recipients to join us for this year’s Grant Presentation Ceremony as we recognize the outstanding organizations making a meaningful impact throughout the Livonia community. 🎉

Our Christmas in July campaign is quickly approaching and we need your help!! If you know of a church, business, group or organization that may want to help us D.O. good please let them know about our Christmas in July campaign!

We need people to-

Collect gifts for us- Set up a box at your work or ask your church to host a collection. Even families can get in on the fun, just ask everyone to bring a gift to your Summer BBQ!

Host fundraisers- Think garage sales, lemonade stands, car washes or bake sales! You could collect cans or do a penny war. Get your kids involved to make this a great learning expereince this Summer!

Donate a prize- We are having a silent auction at the car show and need prizes! Make a whole basket or just go through your unused gift cards to find something to donate! It all helps us reach our goal!

Make a tax deductible donation- We have been a 501(c)3 since February of 2024! This has allowed us opportunities we didn't have before! If you are looking to sponsor a non-profit, make a tax deductible donation from your business or family, or just want to send a couple bucks, please reach out today! Every dollar helps!

The Livonia Community Foundation has been dedicated to strengthening our city since 1995 💙

What started as a vision to build a lasting endowment for Livonia has grown into a powerful force for good - thanks to the generosity of over 750 families, individuals, and businesses in our community.

From an initial $32,000 to over $1 million today, every dollar has helped support the programs, organizations, and initiatives that make Livonia a vibrant place to live, learn, and thrive.

Through grants and reinvestment, we proudly support cultural, historical, educational, and charitable efforts right here in our city.

Step back in time and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with the Livonia Historical Society at a special presentation on the American Revolution. Historian and naturalist Randy Baker brings more than 25 years of experience to this engaging program, using period clothing, authentic artifacts, and storytelling to explore the causes of the war and what daily life was like for a colonial soldier. Join us at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the Livonia Senior Wellness Center for this free event, co-hosted by the Livonia Historic Commission and the Livonia Historical Society.
