The township permit is approved, the dates are locked, and the 5th Annual Veterans’ Honor Run is live for 2026!

On November 7–8, we return to Heritage Park in Canton, MI, to loop for 22 hours straight. We lace up to remember the lives lost, raise community awareness, and actively fund the fight to prevent veteran su***de before it happens.

At least 80% of all funds raised go directly to our incredible 2026 beneficiaries doing life-saving work on the ground: Guitars for Vets, Therapeutic Riding Inc., and Leashes of Valor. 🦅

We’re trying something new.

Our mission has always had two parts:

Raise awareness of Veteran su***de
Support programs helping Veterans and First Responders

Over the past few years, we’ve seen more and more people talking about “22 a day.” That’s a good thing.

But it also raises a question:

Has 22 become just a number?

A number people recognize…
but don’t really feel?

Because 22 isn’t abstract.
It’s 22 lives. Every day.

So we started thinking—how do we make that real?

We’ve created remembrance plates—each one carrying 22 names of Veterans lost to su***de.

At every event I participate in, and on long training runs, I’ll be wearing these plates and physically carrying those we’ve lost.

As more names are submitted, more plates will be added.
And during longer events, they’ll be rotated so every name is carried forward.

🎳 Pins for Patriots is back! 🇺🇸

Join us on Friday, March 13 at Town N Country Lanes in Westland for a fun night of bowling, pizza, and amazing raffles — all in support of First Responders and Veterans.

Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or just in it for the laughs, this is a true community night out. Last year’s event sold out and brought together over 100 people — and the raffles alone were a highlight many people are still talking about.

Because of people like you, the 2025 Veterans’ Honor Run: 22 Hours of Tribute was our biggest year yet. 💙

Together, our participants logged more than 2,100 miles and we’re able to distribute $16,000 to organizations providing free programs for Veterans:
• Guitars For Vets - Detroit, MI
• Therapeutic Riding, Inc.
• Leashes of Valor
• Victory Gym VHC

Veterans who joined us ran for free, with special bibs recognizing their service, handwritten thank-you cards from elementary school students, and a Veterans Day cookie in their packet. Those details mattered more than we can fully capture in numbers.

To everyone who donated, ran, walked, volunteered, sponsored, shared our posts, or simply cheered us on: thank you for standing with our Veterans.

We’re already looking ahead to 2026.💙

🎸 On Sunday, we had the privilege of presenting a $4,500 check to the Guitars For Vets - Detroit, MI to support their work with Veterans across our community.

This chapter has been close to our hearts for years — we’ve heard countless stories from local Veterans whose lives have been changed through the power of music, connection, and the confidence that comes from learning to play.

We’re proud to continue supporting the Detroit team and the impact they make every day. ❤️

💙 On Sunday, after our event wrapped up, we were proud to present a $3,600 check to Therapeutic Riding, Inc. (TRI) to help subsidize their Veterans Program. 🐴

This gift is in addition to our earlier donation supporting TRI’s Blue Ribbon Bash this fall.

We deeply admire their commitment to helping Veterans heal and grow through equestrian therapy — and we highly recommend their incredible program. ❤️
