I don't want to take a Diggs at the guy that left town, but I'm looking forward to see what #17 does with the new guy in town, Amari-ight?

Speaking of which, we could use at least 17 more donors for the blood drive this Monday. And 17 + 7 = a win for everybody.

(Note: I've been asked by the Red Cross that you don't jump through the donation tables).

With school back in full swing, what better time than now to become a part of the Adventure of Scouting! Boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade can join Pack 74, boys through age 18 can join Troop 4074, and girls through age 18 can join Troop 5074.

We'd love to have your family join our Scouting family.

Thank you again for showing our Scout Troops and Pack what an incredible community we live in and serve.

I think I can speak on behalf of the Lakeville Community Pantry, Hemlock Community Food Pantry, and Conesus Community Pantry when I say "Wow!" At least, that was the common reaction I heard when we delivered what we collected at our Fill Our Trailer event.

Not only did you respond with a ton of non-perishable goods, but you contributed more than $350 that we were able to take back inside and fill even more boxes to deliver. I apologize to the cashiers, but I do appreciate your good nature when we brought 3 carts full of goods up front.

Thank you to West's Shurfine for letting us set up a temporary Scout Camp outside your door and in your parking lot. Also, thank you to Lake BBQ for the donated goods. But, mostly, thank you all for the goods, donations, and kind words that you shared with us on Saturday. Together, we've helped a lot of our neighbors.

Just a reminder that we'll be collecting non-perishable, non-expired goods at West's Shurfine in Livonia on Saturday. We should be there by about 10:00, after collecting in the village.

There is also a box in the vestibule at Shurfine if you want to drop off anything before we get there.

This Saturday is our annual Scouting for Food drive, brought to you by the boys in Troop 4074, the girls in Troop 5074, and Cub Scout Pack 74.

In order to better serve our communities, we will not only do our usual door-to-door collection in the village of Livonia, but we will also be at West's ShurFine in Livonia from 10 until 2! Please drop off items to help fill our Scout trailer.

All donations will stay local, being delivered to pantries in Lakeville, Conesus, and Hemlock. Any monetary donations will be used to purchase items at Shurfine at the end of the event. The pantries are grateful for any donation, but some particular items of need are boxed cereals, canned soups and chilies, and canned or bottled tomato products.

Troop 4074 and Pack 74 and Livonia have once again kicked off our annual Scouting for Food campaign. Please know that all food collected stays right here in our community.

Scouts and Cubs will be around on Saturday, 11/12, starting at 9am, picking up donations.

We placed our leaflets at most homes in the village today (11/6). It would be helpful if you helped make your donation obvious by attaching the leaflet to your donation, and putting it where we can easily find it (preferably visible from the street). We don't intentionally skip houses, but sometimes we aren't sure what was meant for us.

If we happened to miss you, or if you are outside the village but would like to contribute, please contact us at [email protected] and we will make arrangements.
