City of York homeowners: if you own a home built before 1978, give us a call we’d like to visit and tell you about our HUD Lead Capacity Building grant administered by the Alabama Department of Public Health. You may be eligible to receive up to $30,000 in lead abatement for your home. Talk to you soon.

Our elderly resident in Hale county applied for the USDA Disaster Grant and received a brand new HVAC system worth $13,950. The resident can now enjoy living in her home comfortably without worrying about the climate inside nor outside. If you know someone 62 or older who owns property that can benefit from repairs such as this one, visit our website and complete an intake form.

At Service2Sumter we take great pride in locating resources for our elderly residents. Today one of our Hale County residents received a septic tank from Blackbelt Unincorporated Wastewater Project . This particular homeowner never had a septic system until today.

Summer Camp is back in session! Thanks to our Sponsors, Tombigbee RC&D ! This year we’ve added ACAP Prep and English to our curriculum. Additionally, we will conclude our summer adventure with a field trip to Hattiesburg Zoo and Serengeti Springs at Hattiesburg Zoo .
