Applications for the Leadership Overton Class of 2027 are officially open!

For more than three decades, Leadership Overton has been developing and nurturing the community leaders who shape this county, bringing together emerging and established leaders from a wide range of backgrounds to build stronger connections, sharpen essential leadership skills, and create positive change right here at home.

The program combines educational sessions, community service projects, networking opportunities, and hands-on leadership experiences, all designed to produce well-rounded leaders who genuinely understand both the challenges and the opportunities facing Overton County.

We're excited to celebrate the next installation of our Leadership Overton Class project at our upcoming ribbon cutting!
Each Leadership Overton class selects, plans, fundraises for, and completes a community project through the Chamber of Commerce. This year's flag project has been made possible through the dedication, hard work, and generosity of our entire class, along with our sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.

We're incredibly proud of what we've accomplished together and look forward to celebrating with everyone who helped make this project a reality!

Please join us for a Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, August 3 at 11:00 AM at the Monroe Community Center.

We're proud to celebrate the Leadership Overton Class of 2026 and their ongoing Flags Over Overton project. As the class works to place flags throughout our community, this installation honors the Monroe Community Center.

The timing holds special meaning as our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary this year. Come out to show your support for this class and the hard work they've poured into this project.

What an insightful day!

Whether you grew up surrounded by agriculture or are newer to our community, there was something for everyone to learn today. Seeing firsthand the work, innovation, and dedication that sustain one of Overton County's most important industries gave us an even greater appreciation for the people behind it.

Thank you to everyone who invested their time and shared their knowledge with our Leadership Overton class. It was truly a day we'll remember!

We proudly recognize the Leadership Overton Class of 2026 for their Flags Over Overton project. The class continues to place flags across our community, with this one honoring the Livingston Housing Authority.

This moment couldn't feel more fitting, arriving as the nation marks America's 250th anniversary. Join us in honoring the dedication behind this project and the class members who brought it to life.

Thanks to all those who welcomed us today! We learned so much and it is always a pleasure getting to speak with our elected officials and those entrusted to caring for our communal resources.
