🇺🇸 Honoring Those We Lost. Remembering Their Names. Never Forgetting. 🇺🇸

When it comes to September 11th, everyone remembers where they were. Everyone has a story.

This year, the Livingston PBA wanted to do something meaningful to honor the memory of the Livingston residents who lost their lives that day.

Our members proudly wore their names on our backs as we ran alongside thousands of others at the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk, each of us running in remembrance of those whose lives were lost and the heroes who answered the call.

Throughout the event, we were overwhelmed by the number of people who approached us because they had ties to Livingston. Many asked to take pictures of our shirts and with our team. Those moments reminded us just how far the Livingston community reaches and how deeply the events of September 11th continue to connect us.

It was an honor and a privilege to participate in this 25th anniversary run, and the Livingston PBA is proud to continue supporting this incredible event in the years ahead.

A big thank you to Eddie Paulo and the Newark Fire Department for inviting us to run alongside their team. We were honored to be part of it.

Thank you as well to everyone who purchased a shirt and supported our fundraiser benefiting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. We still have a limited number of shirts available for purchase at Livingston Police Headquarters.

Lastly, a very special thank you to Jason Sharenow and Broadway Elite Limo Service for sponsoring our team shirts and providing transportation to and from the event. Your continued generosity and support mean more to us than we can say. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

To everyone who ran, donated, supported us, shared a story, or stopped to say hello — thank you.
