Hey, Angels, I am reaching out again! Here we go, rolling into another freeze weekend, and I have to say it has already been sooooooo challenging!! The biggest issue is CLEANING SUPPLIES!!

I added a broom because the “pole” part broke on the one I have, and also a spray nozzle thingie for the main water hose because the one I had became a casualty of the freeze…..RIP, nozzle thingie, I loved you dearly! 🥺

The items on this wish list are desperately needed, and I’ve chosen items that can be ordered for pickup in Livingston. PLEASE consider purchasing a few of the items - if everyone helps, it will all come together and be a GODSEND!!

Hey, Angels! I will be making my way through Livingston and Onalaska today to pick up donation items - yay!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

For anyone who has not yet seen the previous post regarding DESPERATELY NEEDED items before the freeze - we need blankets, towels, sheets, dog beds, crates, dry and wet food, dog sweaters/clothes of any size, “hand warmer” packs, firewood, and pretty much anything you can think of to help us keep these kiddos warm ESPECIALLY IN CASE OF A LOSS OF POWER!

If you’re in the area and have items to donate, please text me at (936) 933-5289 so I can coordinate pickup and disperse items to our ahhhmazing and HARD WORKING fosters! ❤️

If you don’t live in the area, please order online to places like Tractor Supply and Walmart in Livingston and mark it “pickup by Animal Lives Matter Tammy Lawson only” and let us know so we can coordinate pickup of those items as well!

You guys are THE BEST and believe me, NO donation is too small! MUCH LOVE, ANGELS!!!

Hey, guys - it’s CRUNCH TIME before the freeze! A few facts - Animals Lives Matter Of East Texas is a FOSTER-BASED rescue. So a lot of dogs are fostered here (over 40!!) now that NGDR (now NGFF) is VERY HAPPILY an ALM-only foster facility.

But I’m not the only one, by far! Tina Akins, for example, is fostering approximately 60 KIDDOS, many of whom are “littles” - small breeds, chihuahuas, etc. - AND our sweet mama Ginger, who many of you know her tragic yet heroic story! Tina and her amazing daughter are in the midst of transitioning to bottle-feeding Ginger’s six (of eight) babies who survived their premature birth, and this is NO SMALL TASK!

THIS IS A CALL-OUT FOR HELP!

For anyone living within a reasonable distance from Livingston, over the next two days, I can come pick up donations of blankets, towels, crates, outdoor dog houses (like Igloos - I am picking up a donated one tomorrow - YAY!!), dog sweaters of ALL sizes, heat packs (you know, like the kinds you use for hand warmers), dog food (both dry and soft food - we have MANY puppies and special-needs kiddos at the moment!), straw bales (not hay - it’s gonna get wet, and hay holds in moisture), FIREWOOD, and pretty much any item that I haven’t listed that you know would HELP US KEEP OVER 100 DOGS safe during the freeze, ESPECIALLY IF WE LOSE POWER!!

If you’re not near here and still want to help, PLEASE order for online pickup at Tractor Supply or Walmart in Livingston and tag it for Animal Lives Matter. Tammy Lawson will make sure that I and the other handful of local boots-on-the-ground volunteers get all items to the ALM fosters who desperately need them!!

Introducing Kessie! This tiny bundle of sweetness overload was born 10/16/2025. She is the perfection of health and happiness!

Kessie is crate and potty-pad trained and has “bed privileges,” curling up right next to you ALL NIGHT with NO messes!

This playful little jumping bean has been an absolute JOY to foster. She is the perfect blend of fun and cuddly!

***Please remember, Kessie is a TINY GIRL and always will be. She will love children and other pets, but potential adopters should carefully gauge the ability of their kiddos and other pets to be gentle to a “little” like sweet Kessie ❤️***
