We are sad to report that one of our fellow students, Debbie Kapnick, has suffered a stroke and underwent surgery. She is currently at Overlook. The surgery went well. Her husband has written:

"Hi all. Here is latest on Deb. She had a good evening last night and was a bit more responsive and awake. Today she is dealing with a slight fever from the pneumonia in her right lung. She is resting comfortably and is getting the best care possible. Keep praying and sending positive thoughts."

We all wish her a speedy and complete recovery and will keep her in our prayers.

Dear Members of Livingston Arts Association, Inc.

There's nothing more important to us than the safety and well being of

our members and staff. With that in mind, in addition to the uncertainty

of when the Livingston Senior Center will open, we have decided to

cancel our spring art class session. We are hoping instead, to have an

extended summer session, with classes starting in early June.

In addition, we will be cancelling our spring show at Cranes’ Mills and

the April Demo with Barbara Sax.

Lastly, we would like to pay our teachers for the full winter session,

even though our last class was cancelled. The board has decided to

not automatically refund or credit the last session, however, we

understand that each of us will be experiencing difficulties do to the

current situation. Therefore, ONLY if you would like a $15.00 refund for

the last session, please email

[email protected]
with your request. Make sure to include your name and current address and

which teacher and class you were enrolled in.

Wishing you and your families the best of health.
