We were very proud to award these students from Mitchell Senior Elementary 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for their art work. The artwork was for Illustrating America an art contest for K-8th.
These winners are the 6th-8th grade students in Ms Ilyssa Chavez art class.
We also had a winners at the District 13 level. See the photos to identify the students winners.

Our Livingston VFW 8327 honored veterans during a ceremony held at the park on Memorial Day. Community members were invited back to the post to share desserts.

Hamburger
Night will be on the 28th at the Livingston Veteran's Hall from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The 4H Club will be taking donations for desserts, and the Livingston Museum will have a display at the Livingston Hall that evening. You do not have to be a member to attend, so bring your friends and family.

The Livingston Memorial Day ceremony will be held at 5 pm on May 25th at the memorial
in the Livingston Memorial Park.
Refreshments will be served at the Livingston Veteran’s Memorial Hall
immediately following the ceremony. Please bring your own chair.

April 30, 2026: This is the night of our monthly Hamburger night. Please come out and support your VFW Post. Without you, we cannot exist! You do not have to be a member to attend this fundraiser so bring your family and friends and enjoy a meal and visit with your friends and neighbors.

May 22nd through 24th: The Livingston Memorial Day Ceremony will be held in the Livingston Veterans Memorial Park on Monday May 25, 2026 at 5 pm. Refreshments will be served at the Veterans Memorial Hall located at 1605 7th Street following the ceremony.
Public welcome. Please pass the word.
