Before every call, our crews prepare for the unexpected. Most of the time, we never learn what happens after the emergency ends. But every so often, we're given the incredible opportunity to see the outcome firsthand.

Recently, we had the privilege of reconnecting with a patient our crews treated during a critical emergency. Seeing them healthy, sharing a conversation, and embracing their loved ones was a powerful reminder of why we do this job.

These moments are rare, but they stay with us. They reinforce the importance of teamwork, training, and being ready to answer the call when our community needs us most.

To the patient and their family, thank you for taking the time to visit us.

This past weekend your Livingston Firefighters responded to a vehicle that rolled down an embankment. Livingston firefighters performed a low angle rescue, and assisted pcrfd_official49 to extricate the patient. Thank you to all agency’s that participated in the incident!

One of the perks of late-night calls is getting a front-row seat to nature’s fireworks as the 4th of July makes its debut.

Happy 4th of July, and Happy 250th Birthday, America!

Another great Trout Derby is in the books! It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying a day together outdoors. We’re grateful to be part of such an amazing community and appreciate everyone who helped make this year's derby a success. We hope you had as much fun as we did, and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

Livingston Professional Firefighters have proudly hosted the annual Children’s Trout Derby for nearly 40 years!
This beloved event tips its hat to the original National Trout Derby, which began in 1941 and continued until 1977. Thankfully, a couple of Livingston firefighters decided the tradition was too important to let fade away, and in 1987, the first Livingston Children’s Trout Derby was born.
Our firefighters truly love this community and always look forward to carrying on this tradition, creating memories, and spending time with Livingston families each summer.
We can’t wait to see you there!
