This week’s activity was so much fun! The gang got creative decorating their hats with patches and crafting the cutest little clay animals. It was wonderful to see everyone’s personalities shine through their unique creations!

Cerebral Palsy is not the whole story it is only one chapter. 💚
Behind every diagnosis is a person with dreams, talents, hopes, and endless potential. Cerebral Palsy may present challenges, but it does not define a person's worth, intelligence, character, or future. Every individual living with CP deserves to be seen for who they are, not just for their disability.

We started with smaller activities to help bring awareness to a need that exists within our special needs community. As that awareness and support continue to grow, so does our ability to offer more opportunities, activities, and experiences for everyone.

We’d love for y’all to come out and be a part of it this week. We can’t wait to see all your smiling faces! ❤️

Good morning everyone! We are officially ready to begin raising money to take our special needs community to an Astros game this season! ⚾️❤️

Our goal is to purchase at least 150 tickets so these amazing families can enjoy a fun and memorable day together. We are hoping to provide each family with two tickets, and if we are blessed to raise more funds, we’ll gladly increase the number of tickets we’re able to give.

We would also love to raise enough to include meals for everyone attending. If additional funds are available, meals will be included for each guest as well.

We currently have two ways you can support:
• Purchase a raffle ticket for $50 for a chance to win a Hermès Birkin Bag
• Make a donation in any amount

When donating, there will be a comment section. Please comment either “ticket” or “donation” so we can keep everything organized.

Our hope is to raise enough before the end of summer. These families are incredibly excited, and we are so thankful for every share, donation, and bit of support that helps make this possible. ❤️

Join us every Wednesday in June at 4PM for inclusive community activities designed for ALL ages. Spots are limited to 12 participants each week, so be sure to reserve your place early!

Our activity calendar will be wrapping up soon, and we just have a few more things to finish preparing! We’re excited to announce that we plan to host all activities at Happy Camper Sips and Eats.

I also want to apologize for being a little quiet on here lately. I’ve been working extra hard behind the scenes to purchase new furniture for the shop so we can maximize our space and make sure everyone is able to fit comfortably and enjoy their time together.

If you are a business interested in hosting an activity or partnering with us this summer, we would absolutely love to hear from you. Our special needs community is often not offered many opportunities or activities during the summer months, and we are working hard to help change that.

We would also love the support of our community in sharing our posts. Every share, comment, and interaction helps us reach more people and bring these opportunities to life for so many incredible families. ❤️

As we head into summer, we’re getting ready to finalize our activities calendar and would love to lock in the days/times you’d be interested in hosting an event!

Because this will be part of our summer calendar, we’d love for activities to be appropriate for all ages.

If you’re interested in hosting, please send us the following:

• Preferred day(s) and time
• How many participants you can accommodate
• Recommended skill/age level
• A brief description of the activity/event for advertising purposes

We also have an amazing team of volunteers who are eager to help assist with events, so you will never have to do it alone.

At Happy Camper, hosting and sponsoring activities focused on life skills and enrichment has been one of the most emotionally rewarding parts of what we do. Being able to support our special needs community in meaningful ways while creating a space where individuals can experience joy, build confidence, and feel empowered has been beyond incredible.

As many of you know, our space is limited, and we want to expand these opportunities throughout our entire community. We would truly love your help in making that happen.
