Christmas Train Village Starts Today!
Located at Good Golly Miss Molly's at 406 N. Washington in downtown Livingston, Texas. Trains run from 5pm to 7pm and as always there's a challenging scavenger hunt in the village! See the schedule for the Train Village and join us for this Holiday Event!

Please join The Polk County Heritage Society for their 19th Annual "Christmas Train Village". Come on in, see if you can find all the hidden characters in the scavenger hunt! The village is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from 5pm to 7pm at Good Golly Miss Molly's, 406 N. Washington in downtown Livingston. Free to the public, Donations are appreciated. Proceeds benefit Heritage Park in downtown Livingston.

The much anticipated restoration of the Jonas Davis Log Cabin is underway!

We need your help to save the Jonas Davis Log Cabin!

We're raising money to benefit the Polk County Heritage Society, and any donation will help make an impact. Through the years many school groups, organizations and individuals have enjoyed Heritage Park. It is impossible to count the number of senior pictures, engagement pictures and family group pictures that have the Jonas Davis Log Cabin as the backdrop. Over the years, the weather and the elements have caused major damage to the Log Cabin. It needs structural work including log replacement, new chinking, new roof and the front porch needs to be rebuilt. This one of a kind structure is not covered by insurance, if we are to preserve the Log Cabin for the next generations, we must raise money to make this happen. Thank you in advance for your contribution to help save the Jonas Davis Log Cabin.
