🚨 FINAL DAY 🚨

This is your official scientific confirmation that “I’ll do it later” has entered its final stage.

The STANYS Call for Proposals closes TODAY.

So if you’ve been sitting on:🧪 a great lab🚀 a STEM activity🌎 a classroom strategy⚡ organized classroom chaos that somehow worked beautifully…

SUBMIT IT.
Because science teachers are literally out here explaining the universe before lunch.
You probably have something worth sharing.

And honestly? Future You would really like to stop stress-submitting things.

Proposal submissions are due June 1, 2026 at 11:30 PM.

🚨 LAST 2 DAYS 🚨

This is your official reminder that “I’ll do it later” has entered the danger zone.
The STANYS 2026 Call for Proposals closes in TWO DAYS.

🧪 Theme:
“Making Science Stick: Reimagining Instruction for 3D Thinking.”

Right now there are probably hundreds of science educators doing one of these:
📌 Thinking about submitting
📌 Half-writing a proposal
📌 Overthinking the title
📌 Opening the form… then getting distracted immediately

Don’t let your workshop idea die in your drafts folder beside that unfinished Google Doc from 2023. 😅

If you’ve got:
✔ A lesson students loved
✔ A strategy that improved engagement
✔ A hands-on activity that made learning click
✔ A real classroom story worth sharing

…you have something valuable to present.

⏳ Deadline:
June 1, 2026 at 11:30 PM

Submit now before “later” turns into “welp.”

🚨 LAST SATURDAY ALERT 🚨

This is it.Your final Saturday before the STANYS Call for Proposals deadline.

So consider this your friendly reminder from the science education universe:✨ Submit the idea. ✨

That lesson your students STILL talk about? That STEM challenge that unexpectedly worked? That classroom activity held together by duct tape, hope, and questionable amounts of vinegar?
We want THAT energy.

Science teachers are out here turning everyday classrooms into launch pads for curiosity while simultaneously answering:“Can I eat this lab?”“Did we just make chlorine gas?”and“Wait… are worms technically muscles?”
Honestly, the creativity happening in science classrooms deserves a bigger stage.

You do not need:❌ perfection❌ a groundbreaking discovery❌ a 47-slide keynote with dramatic transitions
You just need something real that could help, inspire, or spark ideas for other educators.

Because some of the best conference sessions come from teachers who almost didn’t submit.

⏳ Deadline approaching FAST.Don’t let your proposal become another “I meant to…” science experiment. Submissions are due June 1, 2026 at 11:30 PM.

Happy Friday to the science teachers currently:
🧪 growing mysterious classroom organisms,
🌎 explaining climate systems,
🚀 launching bottle rockets,
⚡ troubleshooting circuits, and somehow still answering, “Wait… is this graded?”

Reminder: the STANYS Call for Proposals closes soon.

And honestly, some of the best conference sessions come from teachers who thought:👉 “I don’t have anything groundbreaking.”

Meanwhile they’re casually teaching plate tectonics with graham crackers and existential determination.
Because the best science teaching rarely comes from perfection. It comes from experimentation. (Preferably the kind NOT smoking in the back of the classroom.)

⏳ Deadline Proposal submissions are due June 1, 2026 at 11:30 PM.

Science teachers are some of the most creative people on Earth. You’re out here explaining the universe before first period while trying to keep vinegar away from chromebooks.

And honestly? Science teachers are some of the most creative people on Earth.

You’re out here explaining the universe before first period while simultaneously trying to keep vinegar away from Chromebooks.

You’ve turned classrooms into ecosystems, engineering labs, launch pads, forensic scenes, weather stations, and occasionally controlled chaos.
So why not share that creativity at STANYS?

🚀 The Call for Proposals closes in less than a WEEK.

Whether it’s a lesson, strategy, lab, phenomenon, STEM challenge, outreach idea, or classroom moment students genuinely connected with your experience could inspire educators across the state.

And let’s be honest… teachers want real ideas from real classrooms.
Not just another stock photo of kids pointing at a beaker.

⏳ Deadline Proposal submissions are due June 1, 2026 at 11:30 PM.

This is your official reminder that the STANYS Call for Proposals deadline is approaching FAST.

Got a classroom strategy that actually works?
A STEM activity students love?
A lesson that bombed… until it didn’t?
A creative way you’re using AI, engineering, phenomena, SEL, climate science, or hands-on learning?

Submit it.

Seriously — some of the most impactful conference sessions come from educators who almost didn’t apply because they thought:
👉 “I’m not an expert.”
👉 “Nobody wants to hear from me.”
👉 “Someone else probably has a better idea.”

Meanwhile, another slideshow titled “Engaging Students in the 21st Century” is warming up in the bullpen.

Your real classroom experiences matter.

STANYS works best when educators share practical ideas, honest challenges, creative approaches, and the things students actually connect with.

We want to hear from YOU.

🧪 Proposal Deadline: 7 days away
🚀 Don’t wait until the final hour fueled only by caffeine and panic.
