We support Fanmi Lasante, a medical clinic in the village of Desab, along with supporting the community in a variety of other ways.

Stone By Stone is committed to improving and maintaining the overall health of individuals living in Desab Haiti and surrounding communities by providing consistent, quality healthcare. Prior to our involvement, the clinic ran one day a week with a Haitian nurse volunteering, doing very basic healthcare. With our support, the clinic now runs one day a week with a Haitian doctor, that same nurse, a

pharmacy tech, a dentist, and two healthcare agents. Now the community has a consistent option for healthcare. We are so blessed to be involved in this fantastic community and are looking forward to further growth with our Haitian friends.

Happy 70th birthday to Finelia! Finelia is a pillar of the community & of Fanmi Lasante. She is a certified healthcare agent & has been helping take care of the community for 40 years. She is also a matwon, someone trained to deliver babies. She has delivered hundreds of babies in the mountain villages, including Fanmi Lasante's administrator, Dieuner Bélice! We are so thankful for her hard work & steady presence. Finelia has been an inspiration to all of us at Stone By Stone since we first met her in 2011. Please join us in wishing her Bòn Fèt!! Happy birthday!!
