Last Friday, we were thrilled to host an insightful AI Security Panel at Daybreak Labs featuring distinguished experts from Sandia National Laboratories! 💡

A huge thank you to Dr. Amanda Dodd for moderating an engaging discussion, and to Dr. Gayle Thayer, Dr. Philip Kegelmeyer, and Dr. Jonathan Crussell for sharing decades of experience at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and national security.

Here are a few key takeaways from the discussion:

🔹 AI security is bigger than cybersecurity: Protecting hardware and software isn't enough—data, models, and reasoning must also be safeguarded against manipulation.
🔹 Agentic AI brings new risks: As AI systems gain autonomy to write code and take actions, security must evolve just as fast.
🔹 It's a continuous discipline: As one panelist noted, "AI security is not one and done." Trustworthy AI requires ongoing red teaming and continuous testing.
