July was a season of love, growth, and joyful celebration at the Prince of Peace Empowerment Center! 🎂🎉

Our July birthday stars were surprised with a special group birthday celebration thoughtfully prepared with the support of a generous friend, Ms. Yang. What began as an ordinary day of vocational skills training quickly turned into a room filled with balloons, birthday songs, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

More than a birthday party, this celebration was a reminder that every young adult we serve is valued, cherished, and loved. Through simple acts of kindness, we can help them experience belonging, encouragement, and hope for the future.

Thank you to everyone who supports our mission of empowering young adults with special needs to grow in confidence, develop vocational skills, and embrace new opportunities.

Group Birthday Celebration at the Prince of Peace Empowerment Center

A very special homecoming today at Prince of Peace Children’s Home (POPCH) as Ben (衛聰華), who left POPCH in 2009 at just 2 years and 10 months old, returned to visit with his parents and two adoptive brothers from the Netherlands. Now 19 years old and a Christian, Ben was deeply moved to reconnect with Ms. Chen, who still remembered him and shared many warm moments and hugs with him during the visit.

Born with a serious foot condition that required multiple surgeries and a partial amputation, Ben now walks normally and appears healthy and confident in a black suit. This touching visit is a beautiful testimony of God’s grace, healing, and the lasting bond between POPCH and its children.

今天在天津武清和平之君兒童福利院（POPCH）迎來一位特別的「回家」時刻－衛聰華（Ben）在2009年、僅2歲10個月時離開兒童之家，這次與父母及兩位領養兄弟從荷蘭一同回訪。

如今19歲的他是一位基督徒。當再次見到陳院長時，他深受感動，而陳院長也依然清楚記得他，彼此在見面過程中多次溫暖擁抱，場面十分感人。

衛聰華出生時患有嚴重腳部問題，經歷多次手術及部分截肢，但如今已能正常行走，身體健康，並穿著黑色西裝顯得精神煥發。這次重逢見證了神的恩典、醫治與 POPCH 長久不變的愛與連結。
