Our annual gala is approaching. It will be a black and white ball held at the Dougherty Station Community Arts Center in San Ramon on Saturday January 31st, 2026 starting at 5pm. One of our signature events not to be missed.

- Built internal stability
- Continued to offer our flagship scholarship program with more funding (and offer a new scholarship)
- Elevated our Cultural Dance Troupe
- Brought back our signature events while adding a massive free community event
- We created a new mission
- Worked on a logo refresh
- Learned more about nonprofits
- Held our first board retreat
- Learned more about local Fil-Am history through the Pioneer Series
- Held team building activities
- Made our CHEF campaign goals

Making good on the promises we made to ourselves and community when asked at the 2024 board inauguration, what would you like to leave the next board, we wrote the following:

- More events
- More community
- Bigger budget/more money
- Better capacity and systems
- More culture

Thank you to everyone who donated to the LFAO/CHEF October matching campaign! We reached 91% of the campaign goal! This is a huge improvement from last year! Through your support Livermore Fil-Am can continue another year of offering scholarships to the graduating high school seniors in Livermore, gather for the Filipino Barrio Fiesta, and cover the organization’s administrative costs. Maraming Salamat Po! 🙏🥰😊
