NYLT reunion is getting closer!! 🎉🥳

Join us on November 13th to reconnect with your patrolmates & relive your best summer moments. Spread the word - we want to see everyone there!

Scouts who complete their take-home vision and goals will be recognized! Remember: NYLT is two parts - after the summer course, put your leadership into action by completing three goals in your unit.

Finish your goals, and you will be eligible to join Troop 22, the elite group of NYLT STAFF!

More details are in your NYLT notebook and on our website. Reach out to your Troop Guide for guidance!

What is NYLT?

NYLT models a month in the life of a youth-led troop or crew – we hold multiple PLCs and troop meetings, all preparing them for challenges to test their skills accumulated during the week. This course uses the patrol/team method to facilitate scout-led learning.

Throughout the course, the staff will be modeling the concepts and skills that are the core content of the course. The focus of each session is not only to bestow scouts with knowledge but also to enable them to use the skills they have learned in their home troops and in their daily lives.
