🦸‍♀️ Every nonprofit is a superhero and it’s time to celebrate them! 🦸‍♂️

On April 25, Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA is teaming up with Las Positas College and the Livermore Chamber of Commerce to host a Superhero-themed 5K + 1-Mile Fun Walk at Las Positas College and you’re invited!

✨ What makes this event special?
When you register, you’ll choose one of 10 featured local nonprofits (plus TVNPA and the Las Positas College Foundation), and a portion of your registration directly supports the nonprofit you select. It’s a fun, affordable way to move your body and give back to the organizations that strengthen our community every day.

🗓 Event highlights:
• Costumes encouraged (but not required!)
• Dogs are welcome 🐾
• Run/Walk starts at 9:00 AM
• Marketplace Celebration + BBQ begins at 10:00 AM
• Registration includes a custom event t-shirt AND a superhero cape (yes, really!)

We are so proud of our Tri-Valley community. 💙

Together, through the Feeding Our Families Food Drive, we raised $82,431.55 for Tri-Valley Haven and Open Heart Kitchen and collected 12,846 pounds of healthy food for families facing food insecurity.

This drive came together quickly to help families affected by impending reductions in food benefits. Because of you, people in our community will have food on the table when they need it most.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and spread the word, and to our incredible partners who made this possible. No one should be hungry, and together, we made sure of that.

No one in our community should ever have to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table. But right now, food insecurity is rising across the Tri-Valley — and shelves at our local pantries are running dangerously low.

That’s why Community Health & Education Foundation (CHEF) is joining forces with Tri-Valley NonProfit Alliance (TVNPA), Tri-Valley Haven, Open Heart Kitchen, CityServe of the Tri-Valley, and the Assistance League of Amador Valley to get nutritious food to our neighbors now.

Help Local Families in Need This Season

TVNPA has brought together a coalition of community partners to host a Holiday Food Drive on Saturday, November 15, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the three local Grocery Outlet stores in Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore.

Your donations will help ensure that local families have the nutritious food they need during this time of year. Even as the government reopens, many in our community continue to face food insecurity—your support makes a real difference.

Please check the flyer for ideas of nutritious, shelf-stable items to donate. If you prefer, cash donations can also be made through our partnership with CHEF, which will match 50% of every contribution.
