What a difference a year makes! We extend our sincere gratitude to the town of Livermore Falls, Kenny Jacques and Bob Berry for generously working to get us the property located behind the American Legion. This property is necessary for the American Legion to survive as we have limited parking or outside seating. We also appreciate Smittys Tree service for their tree removal services and help hauling loads after load away, Adam Castaungway for demolishing and removing the building, and Ron Morin, Don Leclerc, Rick Duguay, Joe Curtis and crew, as well as numerous others for their contributions. A total of 43 truckloads of materials, including tires, campers, jet ski, outbuildings, trash etc were removed from the property.

Now we are currently seeking a frontend loader or skid steer to assist with filling in the foundation. Mike Bibeau has kindly offered to address the stumps in the near future. Additionally, we require fill and gravel to level the property, rendering it functional and usable for the community. Please call me at 897-8515 if you can assist.

Thank you to everyone who worked with me to get this done! It really saved the taxpayers of Livermore Falls a lot of money and will be an asset to the community.

We invite you to attend upcoming events at the VFW this Friday and at AMVETS next Saturday. Both organizations have recently demonstrated their support for our programs with a combined donation of $1300; we encourage you to patronize them in return.

This is the American Legion Post 10 Float created by Wendi Davis & David Berntsen to be in the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25th at 10 AM, in Jay & Livermore Falls. The parade route is Maine Street with ceremony & wreath laying at Chisholm Square, Richardson Cemetery & Union Park in Livermore Falls. The American Legion float will be on display in Union Park after the parade.
