🚨 Feed Help Needed 🚨

The sanctuary is going through a really difficult stretch right now. I’m currently in Virginia helping my sister through recovery, and while we are incredibly thankful to have an amazing friend staying behind caring for all of the animals, things are financially very tight.

With Jarred away handling personal matters and only one income right now, feed costs are becoming overwhelming.

The pigs, horses, cows, geese, ducks, dogs, cats, and everyone else still need full bellies and proper care every single day no matter what life throws at us.

We are asking for immediate help restocking feed and helping us get through the next few weeks. Every dollar truly matters right now and goes directly toward caring for the animals.

Tiny Toes, Big Need 🐷💕

We urgently need help raising $1,200 for our pigs’ hoof trims on May 22nd with our favorite ladies from Have-A-Heart Hoof Care . Hoof care is not cosmetic — overgrown hooves can become painful and make it hard for them to walk comfortably.

At Ark Rescue at Brightside Acres Sanctuary Inc., we do everything we can to keep our babies healthy and pain free, but right now we truly need a little help getting everyone the care they need.

It’s been an incredibly difficult month for us. Lindsey has been traveling back and forth between Florida and Virginia to care for her sister, and in the meantime, everything here at the sanctuary is falling behind.

Right now, we are struggling to keep up. Our feed supply is getting dangerously low, bills are piling up, and with the rising cost of feed and gas, we are at a critical point.

The animals still need to eat every single day—no matter what’s going on—and we refuse to let them go without. But we can’t do this alone right now.

We are asking for help—urgently. Even a few dollars makes a real difference in keeping everyone fed and cared for until Lindsey can return home full-time and we can stabilize again.

🐷💛 The Animals Are Running the Sanctuary… Kind of 😅 💛🐴

Lindsey is in Virginia helping her sister right now, but back at the sanctuary, the daily rhythm keeps going.

The pigs still want their feed topped off.

The horses still need their hay and care.

The chickens are still being dramatic as
usual.

And the geese and ducks still expect VIP treatment. 🪿🦆✨

While she’s away, we’re asking our wonderful village to help keep everything running smoothly until she gets home.

🌞💦 URGENT SUMMER PREP FUNDRAISER 💦🌞

Friends, we need a little help — and we need it quickly.

As we prepare for the hot months ahead, we’re facing some immediate repairs and upgrades to make sure every animal has full-time, reliable water access. Several areas still need their water lines completed so our sanctuary family can stay safe, cool, and hydrated once the heat sets in. 🐷🦆🐴💚

We’re also working to gather pools, shade items, and summer supplies for our animals who depend on extra cooling during the high temperatures. Summer hits hard here, and we must be ready.

We are launching our Ark Rescue Summer Prep Fund and asking for support to get everything finished as soon as possible.
