Littleton Community Farm Littleton Community Farm is a nonprofit vegetable farm, dedicated to hunger relief. The target population is low- to moderate-income families.

LCF’s mission is to reduce food insecurity in our area, provide farm-based education, and be a place for community connection. We aim to inspire through hands-on exposure to agriculture and growing for our entire community.

This week was our final distribution to Mill Pond Apartments in Littleton. Low resourced elders received a bounty of crops to help supplment thier SNAP benefits and added more fresh food to thier diets. Always hard to leave in the fall knowing our food makes such a difference, and if Washington does not pass the spending bill in less than 45 days both SNAP and WIC housholds will lose thier benefits.

Thank you to our friends at Bio-Techne for coming to the farm to volunteer on yet another HOT day! Pulling down the plastic over the extension was no easy task and required great teamwork! Getting ready for winter takes weeks and weeks, and we appreciate all the help!
