Leawood Civic Association and Neighborhood Leawood Neighbors The Leawood Civic Association was formed in 1965. We represent your interests to the Leawood Park Board and to the County.

As your Civic Association, (not an HOA) our primary purpose is to bring the neighborhood together making in a fun place to live! We provide a neighborhood website and newsletter to keep residents up to date on issues and information about our neighborhood. The LCA also sponsors many neighborhood activities for adults and kids such as the Easter egg hunt, Leawood picnic, garage sales and clean-up d

ay. As a voluntary association our strength depends on residents joining and participating. Memberships start at $20/year with increased benefits for higher donations. The value is tremendous. Your support of the Leawood community is expressed by becoming a paid member of the Leawood Civic Association. However we can also use your time, please let us know if you can help in any way as a volunteer or as an actual LCA Board member. The LCA Board welcomes your input and encourages your attendance at our board meetings. The LCA is more active and involved than ever! YOU’RE INVITED TO THE LEAWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD PICNIC!

Date: Saturday, August 23
Place: Leawood Park Pavilion (Pierce & Leawood Dr.)
Time: 12:00–2:00 PM

Parade kicks off at 11:15 AM from Leawood Elementary — kids with decorated bikes/wagons and adults with classic or exotic cars are welcome!

Cost:
$5 per person for LCA members
$7 per person for non-members

What’s included:
Bouncy castle for kids
Snow Cones
Lunch and drinks (non-alcoholic)
Raffle prizes and music
Parade led by Fire Engine Lucky 13 with the Jeffco Sheriffs

Bake Sale:
Bring baked goods or desserts to share — proceeds go to the Leawood Scholarship Fund.
