Scouts are Thrifty.
Our Pack meeting tonight was talking about the importance of using resources wisely. The scouts were thrifty using found and recycled materials to make things. Many scouts used Toy Story as an inspiration to make their own ‘forky’.

Our Cub Scout Pack 404’s Den Chief suggests sanding your pinewood derby axels to remove any burrs. This reduces friction on the wheels to get a faster race time.

February Den Meetings were a hit.

Webelos worked on some survival skills and Bears worked on building skills including fire building.
Bears Den leader was illustrating that not all eye protection or gloves are the proper in every situation!

We missed those scout families that couldn't join us.

I’m feeling crafty today and made festive gift tags for our pinewood derby cars.
We are distributing them tonight at the Cub Scout Christmas party.

Caroling was a blast. We sounded pretty good this year. Thank you for those that could join us last night.
Only picture I got was our cub master mixing up warm drinks at our cocoa, cider and cookie bar after we sang.

Our Scouts rocked the “Scouting For Food” community food drive this year.
Last Saturday our Cub Scouts partnered with Troop 404 to hang door tags.
Today our Cubs partnered with the Troop to pickup the generous donations. Open Arms Food Bank gave our scouts a behind the scenes tour.
