LAST MINUTE ADDITION!! The birding has been so good we've decided to ignore everything and spend Sat May 23 7-9 AM at Greenways in Wayland. One of our favorite out-of-the-way spots that isn't even a hot spot technically, though 65 species in two hours seems hot to us.. Did BBF's Mari write about this place for Bird Observer Journal "where to go birding" recently? Why yes. Special thanks to one of our favorite partners for taking care of this special place. Sign up (free) on our website. Beginners welcome. Loaner bins on request. SPACES LIMITED because parking is limited.

More than 80 varieties of perennials, shrubs, herbs, and vegetables — most pollinator-friendly, many New England native — are now settling into yards, window boxes, and pollinator strips all over town.
To our growers, our Horticulture Committee, the Friday set-up crew, the Saturday volunteers, and every single shopper who showed up anyway: thank you. And a special hello to the new faces — we'll be in touch about a meeting soon. 💚
Read the full thank-you on our website.

Somewhere between the first wagonload heading off to a car and the last hellos under dripping hoods, the weather quietly stopped mattering.
