Just a heads up notice. If you live in Northglenn and have more than 4 dogs and/or cats currently, then you'll need to fill out the form for an exemption before August 1st. This is not an anti-breeder ordinance or spay/neuter effort by this city and looks reasonable for an urban area.

An important change will soon take effect regarding pet ownership in Northglenn.

We have a privilege that citizens have died to gain in other countries, as well as here to protect it. It's our right to choose our government leaders and vote. If you are a US citizen and old enough to vote, then DO SO! Every vote can make a difference for all of us.

Interesting article from our close neighbor Wyoming that shows why Colorado ballot initiative #127 is such a BAD idea. Hunting of Mountain Lions and Bobcats is necessary to control populations and pursuing with trained dogs allows the hunters to protect livestock and pets, as well as people, by allowing the hunter to choose to make the choice to kill or just drive the cat out of an area by pursuing and treeing it.
