Please share with your units that there are two upcoming council fishing events. A fishing merit badge day on July 23 and a fishing derby on August 6.

All scout ages are welcome, Cubs through Venturing at the derby. Invite a friend to Scouting, each participant is encouraged to bring a friend (not currently registered with the BSA) for free

There will be gear to borrow on site but you can bring your own too. Fishing licenses are NOT required; Scouts will participate in catch and release fishing. Night crawlers will be provided.

Registration is limited to 60 participants per time slot. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, and any other fishing gear you would like to use.
