What makes a community stronger?

Littleton is one of a small number of New Hampshire communities selected in 2026 for a statewide Community Conversations initiative through New Hampshire Humanities and CDFA. It is a conversation, guided by a professional facilitator, where neighbors share, listen, and reflect on what we value about Littleton, where we see challenges and opportunities, and what we hope for our future.

Following the event, a $3,000 grant will help our town turn ideas from
the conversation into action. If you live, work, learn, or own a business in Littleton, your voice belongs in the room.

NH-based cartoonist, musician, and educator Marek Bennett will live-draw as neighbors and strangers gather
for wide-ranging conversations about the big ideas that shape our lives. www.MarekBennett.com

We are excited to announce that our third annual Community Volunteer Fair will be held on Thursday, October 8th, 2026, from 2 to 6 pm in the atrium outside our cafeteria and in the adjacent conference rooms. This is an opportunity to connect with local organizations, learn about their missions, and explore how you can contribute to the community.

Not-for-profit organizations in attendance include the Boys & Girls Club, Littleton Area Senior Center, Granite United Way, Littleton Community Center, CASA of New Hampshire, Littleton Regional Healthcare Auxiliary, Friends of the Frost Place, AmeriCorps Senior Companion Program, Littleton Historical Society, The Morrison Communities, Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, and Littleton Regional Healthcare.

Impending Medicaid changes taking effect on January 1, 2027, include a requirement for all Medicaid recipients to participate in community engagement in the form of work, school, or volunteering, or any combination of all three for a minimum of 80 hours per month to continue receiving benefits. Exemptions do exist for medical frailty, special needs, and other circumstances.

“While it remains to be seen exactly how the new Medicaid community engagement requirements will affect volunteerism in our area, many organizations may see increased interest from individuals seeking to satisfy program requirements. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how your time and talents can make a difference in our community,” noted Dawn Lambert, Volunteer Coordinator at LRH.

Wow! What a turn out! Thank you to everyone who baked pies, served pies, cleaned up and especially everyone who stopped in and ATE PIE! We loved seeing you all and look forward to seeing you again next year. Our Pie Festival gets bigger and better each year thanks to our amazing volunteer crew from Littleton Garden Club, Littleton Community and All Saints' Episcopal Littleton NH of course all of the hungry Pie Eaters out there!
